A few other notable mentions about the trip...

First off, the boys were such fantastic travellers. From the car ride, to the sky train ride, to the game, for a walk, back on the sky train, and back in the car, we barely heard a complaint from them. One notable exception was (to them), the unexpected fog horns, cheers, and groans from the crowd at the game. After the first USA goal, both little guys erupted into tears. That pretty much followed suit for about half the game. Eventually, Nolan got into it by ringing the cow bell. Caleb liked the reassurance from Dad. That is, until both little bears fell asleep (at their normal nap time) with about 15 minutes left in the game. The last few goals barely registered. Nolan's eyes would flicker and Caleb would grimace, but they slept through.

  1. How awesome to take your boys to the Winter Olympics!! We've been watching a lot of the events here in Iowa. My kids are really into it this year since they are older.
